T505:

Treat with Zineb or other approved fungicide of equal effectiveness.
(1 ½ tablespoons of 75 percent wettable powder per gallon of water).


T506:

(a) T306(a), page 7.18, methyl bromide for potato cyst nematode.

(b) Formaldehyde wetting spray (1 part commercial formaldehyde to 9 parts water.)

(c) High pressure steam (see section Vll, Part II)


T507:

Remove infected leaves and treat all plants of same species in shipment with Fermate or Captan following label directions.

Advise importer of consignee that treatment may cause commodity damage.


T508:

Refuse entry to all infected plants and all other plants of the same species or variety in the shipment when destined to Florida; treat with Captan or Fermate other orchid species within the shipment which may have become contaminated. Repackage treated orchids in clean shipping containers. For states other than Florida, refuse entry to infected plants and treat balance as above. Use clean shipping containers if contaminated. Follow highest dosage on fungicide label.


T509:

(a) Light infection: Remove infected leaves and dip or spray plant with 4-4-50 Bordeaux; or 80 percent WP Captan, 2 pounds to 100 gallons of water. Dry quickly and thoroughly before release.

(b) Heavy infection: Refuse entry.
